- Bring sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, and 1/4 cup water to boil in a small saucepan up to medium heat, stir until sugar is dissolved.
- In a bowl pour the mixture. and stir in oil, ginger, scallion, and red pepper flakes.
- All done. You can use this sauce with dumplings. It makes about one cup.
